Jewell Educational Services
Director
Granbury, TX

I was lucky enough to have trained under Aylett Royal Cox and Margaret Taylor Smith.  I have a dyslexic daughter who was diagnosed when she was 8 years old by Dr. Luke Waites at Scottish Rite Hospital as the most severely blocked child he had ever tested.  Dr. Waites invited Paige to attend the language lab for Alphabetic Phonics training during the summer of 1973.  During that time, I was lucky enough to be trained by Aylett Royal Cox in the Alphabetic Phonics Curriculum.  I have had an amazing journey during my 48 years of teaching, first as a
private therapist, then as a dyslexic teacher in Red Oak, Texas public schools and more recently as a teacher trainer, working first with Linda Sullivan and For the Kids and now with Jewell Educational Services where I have been so lucky to have 3 amazing trainers; Opal Andrews, Angela Parker and now Katrina Miller.
